BIG DATA Presence project - The brief was to create some brand presence for the big data and artificial intelligence laboratory.  After looking at various sources of inspiration for large installations that react to human movement. My idea was to create a light installation leading down the corridor to the main entrance of the department - illustrating the purpose of big data - my interpretation was from Order to Chaos. The idea was that with human influence - or interactions, the light display dots would move from chaotic position in to ordered lines. A reflection of what happens when we process big data.
